Made from yellow split peas\u2014a low-impact, high-protein crop that requires minimal water, land and energy\u2014Sproud is the alternative to the alternatives. The humble pea also plays a crucial role in regenerative agriculture by fixing nitrogen in the soil, promoting soil fertility and contributing to ecosystem health.

In 2025, we achieved B Corp certification, joining a global movement of changemakers. This was a huge milestone for us, as it means we meet B Lab\u2019s high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.<\/p>

Why it matters
Becoming a B Corp is more than just a certification; since the process to reach the standard is so rigorous, it means we must have high levels of responsibility in all we do. Plus, this isn\u2019t just a one-off.
